The Vision
Something is calling us to build differently.
The Sacred Valley has become home to an extraordinary convergence of teachers, entrepreneurs, healers, facilitators, creators and communities from around the world.
But Wakan isn't about creating another retreat center.
We envision a home where people can bring their communities together - for masterminds, wellness retreats, family gatherings, ceremony, leadership, creativity and transformational work.
A place where purpose, community, enterprise and reciprocity meet.
A place that receives from the Sacred Valley - and gives back to it.
This is Wakan.
The First Wakan
Pisac, Sacred Valley
We have identified an existing retreat property in Pisac that we believe could become the first home of Wakan.
The property is already operating as a retreat center and includes 12 rooms and bungalows, a restaurant and kitchen, two shalas, gardens and communal spaces across more than 4,400 m² of registered land.
Instead of beginning with empty land and waiting years to build, this creates the possibility of beginning the Wakan story with a place that is already alive.
The property is currently being explored for acquisition and is not yet owned by Wakan.

We don't want to simply create a beautiful place where people come, have an
extraordinary experience and leave.

Our larger vision is to create a home where retreat, enterprise, community
and stewardship can support one another.
A place that leaves the Sacred Valley better because it exists.
The Invitation
We're at the beginning.
We are bringing together a small group of people we respect to share the Wakan
vision before we take it to a wider audience.
Some may see Wakan as a future home for their retreats or communities.
Some may want to participate financially.
Some may have relationships, ideas or resources that could help bring the vision to life.
And some may simply feel called to be in the room.
